Welcome to Kingdom Perspective

LIVING WITH A HEAVENLY VIEWPOINT!

WHY KINGDOM PERSPECTIVE?

For disciples to live like Jesus it becomes necessary for us to speak about the same things Jesus did. The Kingdom is the most frequent topic of Jesus but rarely is it fully grasped by his followers today. This series aims to assist by bridging that gap.

of the

Kingdom’

THE SECOND BOOK IN THIS SERIES IS NOW AVAILABLE

Whether reading this as an individual or as part of a small group, it will challenge your thinking, your attitudes and your commitment to Jesus and his Kingdom. Therefore, we highly recommend it to you.

Rev. John and Trish Waller.

This is a book that dispenses with the superficial and delves deeper in to the costs, qualifications and challenges of what it means to be a disciple and a true citizen of the kingdom. Biblically based and powerfully practical - I recommend it highly.

Rev. John Glass, General Superintendent Elim Pentecostal Church 2000-2016, Chair of Council Evangelical Alliance 2014-2018.

Citizens of the Kingdom is all about the journey of a disciple. The journey is long and varied with good coverage of the most basic, as well as solid preparation for the tougher parts of the journey. I love the pragmatism of this book and enthusiastically recommend it to you.

Rev. David Campbell, Regional Leader and member of the Elim National Leadership Team.

‘Territory

of the

Kingdom’

THE FIRST BOOK IN THIS NEW SERIES AVAILABLE HERE!

This incredible book kicks off a series on the often mentioned, but not so well understood subject of the Kingdom of Heaven.

Why not venture into a new journey of discovery into the Kingdom of Heaven, just like its author has?

Your journey with Jesus may well be turned upside down!

Alan has captured something of his own journey as a disciple of Jesus, as he has sought to live a life in the kingdom of God. His honest reflections on his wrestle to understand just what this means in everyday life is refreshing. Alan leads us through a helpful exploration of the kingdom teachings of Jesus, through the use of parables, as he seeks to illuminate the readers understanding of the territory of the kingdom. For those who are seeking to understand a little more about the kingdom of God this is a great access point to achieving that goal.

Rev. Iain Hesketh, International Missions Director, Elim UK.

A creative, refreshing and heartfelt exploration into what Jesus taught about the Kingdom, challenging traditional thinking on the subject and providing an invaluable resource for group or individual study of Jesus’ parables in Matthew.

Rev. Geoffrey Richardson MTh, former Dean of Students at Regents Theological College, England.

I know every book has its unique features, but tackling the ‘Territory of the Kingdom’ is probably in a category by itself. In reading the ‘Territory of the Kingdom’, I found it is a subject not widely addressed generally. I believe it has been written with a real passion and with words fuelled by the Holy Spirit to demonstrate how we need to live with a Kingdom perspective. Alan has used vocabulary that is easily understood, communicates transformational truth, and also highlights Kingdom perspectives more clearly and directly than perhaps by other authors.

I have been the Pastor at Elim Oasis Church, in Broadstairs, England since 2015. Having spent most of my Christian life as part of the Elim Pentecostal Church in the UK, I was ordained as one of their ministers in 2014, after serving in numerous other Elim churches.

I gained a BA Honours degree in Applied Theology and also hold an MA degree in Pentecostal and Charismatic Theology, both from Regents Theological College in England.

About the author

Much of my time in ministry has been bi-vocational, working as an IT Software Consultant, alongside leading a church. I have been privileged to travel widely and experienced mission in many nations, helping to lead mission teams overseas, as well as hosting mission teams into the UK. I also help by serving the Elim Missions Department based in Malvern, England, both regionally and nationally. Mission is what led me into my own journey of discovery, learning about the finer details of the Kingdom of Heaven. It has revolutionised my walk with Jesus and my prayer is that my discoveries will help you grow as a disciple of Jesus too.

Richest blessing in Christ,

Alan Osborn
